The four stories, linked by the same (5 to 6) characters and setting (a pub), are well structured and follow the same rhythm, starting with the first of the crowd to enter the pub and ending with the decision where to go for dinner. It is the orchestration of the banal. But this is what life is: very often very banal. The characters are very well sketched, so that they leave much room for development in the reader's phantasy. The plot has everything that is important in life, from flirting to dying. I am looking forward to more from this promising new talent.Product details
